PROHIBITING 'THE SOLICI-

CHARITY, THE PROMOTION
AND CONDUCTING 'OF BA-
ZAARS, SALES OR EXHIBI-
TIONS FOR CHARITY, AND
PI;ESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of
Anaheim ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful
for any person, firm,' s6asociation
or corpotation to make any - appeal
to the public for a charity, either
by soliciting or collecting gifts,
contributions, donations. or . sub-
scriptions. or by promoting or cor.-
-lucting any bazaar, :sale or' exhi-
bition'. or by any .other means what-
soever, at any place or to any per-
son in the City of Anaheim. unless,
an application. therefor -has been
filed with and a permit issued by
the City Council of the City of An-
aheim, in -the manner herein pro-
vided.
SECTION 2: Any person, firm,
association or corporation desiring
to make an appeal to the public for
a charity, either -by soliciting dona-
tions or subscriptions or by promot-
ing or conducting. any bazaar, sale.
exhibition, 'or by env other means
whatsoever, at any place. or to. any
person in the City of Anaheim, may
file an application with the City
Council of the City of Anaheim, up-
on forms to be supplied. by the City
of Anaheim. without .charge to the
applicant, setting forth the follow
