Anaheim and Fullerton -and other public corporations, and the
City of Anaheim proposes to issue bonds to raise moneys to pay
its pert of the cost of said ne Pj facilities and to pay the cost
of constructing additional sanitary sewers for the City of Anaheim;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Anaheim DOES ORDAIN as follows;
Section 1. That a. special election be heldl and the
same is hereby called to be held, in the City of Anaheim,
California, on the 18-)h day of September, 19509 for the purpose
of submitting to the qualified voters of said city a proposition
of incurring indebtedness and issuing bonds of said City therefor,
In the amount hereinafter set forth, and for the object and purpose
sed, forth in said resolution and hereinafter stated.
Section 2. That the object and purpose for which said
indebtedness is to be incurred and bonds issued therefor is as
follows:
The acquisition and construction for the City of
Anaheim of a certain municipal improvement, to wit: additional
sanitary sewers and sewage disposal facilities, including (1)
additions of main trunk, interceptor and lateral sewers to the
sewer system of the City of A..naheim; (2) that undivided part or
share, which is to be owned and paid for by the City of Anaheim
of (a) additions to and enlargements of the sewage treatment
plant and chlorination plant jointly owned by the City of Anaheim
and other cities and sanitarN districts (b) reconstruction and
replacement of portions of the jointly owned outfall sewer carry-
ing sewage from said treatment plant, and (e) an additional main
trunk sewer, with connecting lines, to carry sewage to said
sewage treatment plant (said reconstruction and replacement of
portions of said outfall sewer, said additions to and enlarge-
ments of the sewage treatment plant and chlorination plant, *md My

paid for by the City of Anaheim and other public corporations),
Section 3. That the estimated cost of the municipal
improvement described in Section 2 hereof is the sum of
$1,040,000.00, and that the amount of the principal of the in-
debtedness to be incurred therefor is the sum of 0190409060,001,
That the maximum, rate of interest to be paid on said
Indebtedness shall not exceed four per cent (4%) per annum,
payable semiannually.
That if the proposition for the incurring of bonded
indebtedness so submitted receives the ' requisite number of votes,
to wit, two-thirds of the votes of the qualified electors voting
st- said election, bonds of said City, in not exceeding the.
principal amount stated in such proposition# shall be issued and
sold for the object and purpose set forth in said proposition.
Section 4. That the .polls for said election shall be
opened at seven o'clock,, A..M. , of the day of said election and
shall remain open continuously from 4aid time until seven o'clock

as provided in Section 5?34 of the Elections Code of the State
of California.

at its usual place of meeting in the City Hall on Tuesday, the
19th day of September, 19509 at 8 P.M., of said day, and proceed
to canvass the electron returns and declare the result of said
election.
Section 8. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this ordinance by a vote of more than
two. -thirds of all of the members of the City Council of said
