AN ORDINANCE OF HE CITY ANAHEIM APPROVING
THE A ,'INEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF THE
TERRITORY KNOWN PN-'-., DESIGNATED AS ROBERTS
ANNEXATION.
THE CITY COUNCYL OF THE CITY OF ANA:13EIM DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS :
Council of the City of Anaheim
SECTION 1: That the City
did on the 27th day of June, 1950, receive a written petition asking
that certain new and uninhabited territory described in said peti-
tion be annexed to the City of Anaheim.
That said territory proposed to be' annexed to said City
of Anaheim is situated in the C %runty of Oz°ar_ge, State of California,
and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited terri-
tory. That said petition contained a description of said territory
in words and fi:�.-ures as hereinafter in this Ordinance descr=ibed.
That the City Council duly assembled at a regular meeting
of said City Council held on the 11th day of July, 1950, did find
that said petition at the time it was filed and received was signed
by the oviners of not less than one-fourth of the area of 'the land
in such territory and represented not less than one-fourth of the
assessed value of said territory proposed to be annexed according -
to the last preceding equalized assessment roll, of the County cr
Grange, State of Califorciia, in which said territory is situated
and that said territory did not form a part o.!' any municipal eor-
por. ation and dice find that- said territory is contiguous to the
City of Anaheim and is uninhabited territory.
That on the 11th day of July, 1950, at a regular meeting
of said City Council of the City o.L' Anaheim, Resolution No. 1758
was duly pas:.ed and adopted specifically describing the boundaries
of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim
and de s i t_:nating such territory as Roberts Annexation and giving
notice of such annexation and fixing the 8th day of August, 19509
at the hour of 8;00 P.M. at the City Council Chambers in the City

Hall in the City of Anaheim, as the day, hour and place when and
where any person owning real property w itain such territory so
proposed to be annexed and having objections to the proposed annex-
ation might appear before the City Council of the City of Anaheim
and: shower cause why such territory should not be so annexed and
notifying all persons having objections to such proposed annexation
to appear at said day, hour and place to show cause, if any they
had, why such territory should not be annexed to the City of Anaheim
and directing the City Clerk to publish or cause to be published
a copy of said Resolution at least once a geek for two successive
weeks prior to August 89 1950, in the Anaheim Bulletin* a newspaper
of general circulation, published in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orane e, State of California. That said Resolution was caused
to be published by said City Clerk in said Anaheim Bulletin as
directed.
That on the hour, day and at the place specif ied in said
Resolution No. 1758, to -wit, on the 8th day of August, 1950, at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chambers in the
City Hall
in the City of Anaheim,
California,
the City Council of

of Anaheim did meet and
assemble and
proceed to hear and
pass on all protests. That written protests were not made by the
owner or owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed
to be annexed according to the last equalized assessment roll- of
the County of Orange, State of California.
SECTION 2: That the annexation of the territory ineluded
witin the boundaries of the Roberts Annexation and more partieu-
larly described as follows, to wit:
A tract of land including a portion of the Swij of the
SW,,� of Section 1, Township 4 South Range 10 West,
and a portion of the NW. of the Nils. of Section 12,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian, and including a portion of East La
Palma Avenue (otherwise known as East North Street)
in the County of Orange, State of California and

more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the present east city limit
line of the City of Anaheim, said point being on the northerly
line of East La Palma Avenue ( otherwise known as East North
Street) and 330 feet eastwardly from the mons mented center
line of Placentia Avenue; thence Eastwardly along the said
north line of East La Palma Avenue ( otherwise known as East
North Street) a distance of 990 feet, more or less, to the
easterly line of the S of the SW1 of Section 1, Township
4 South! Range 10 West, San $ernardino Base and Meridian;
thence southwardly along said east line of the SWC of the
SiPff1 of Section 19 T -4-S, R -10-W a distance of 30 feet to the
center line of said East La Palma Avenue (otherwise known
as East North Street) said center line also being -$he south
line of said Section 1, T -4-S, R -10-W, S.B.B. & M; thence
continuing Southwardly along the east line of the NWt of
the NWi4 of Section 12, T -4-S, R-10-Wp S.B.B. & M. a distance
of 330 feet to a point; thence westwardly along a line
parallel to the monumented center line of East La Palma
Avenue (otherwise known as East North Street) a distance
of 990 feet, more or less, to a point on the present city
limit line; thence N -00-071-25"-E along the said east city
limit line a dist&nce of 331.08 feet to a point which is
1.08 feet northerly from the center line of said East La
Palma Avenue (otherwise known as East North Street); thence
N -00-451-05"-E along the present city limit line a distance
of 28.92 feet to the point of beginning,
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and in-
corporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California and is hereby designated as the Roberts Annexation to
the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 3: That from and after the effective date of
this Ordinance and the filing of a certified copy thereof in the
office of the Secretary of State of California, the annexation of
the territory herein described shall be deemed to be and shall
be complete and thence forth such annexed territory shall be to all
intents and purposes a part of -the City of Anaheim.
SECTIOY 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and cause the sane to be published once in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a daily newspaper, printed, published and circu-
lated in the City of An.ahei , County of Orange, State of California
and thirty ( 30) days from and after the final l a on it shall
be in full force and effect.
The foregoing Ordinance was approved and signed by me this
day of August, 1950.
