A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted at
2:25 p.m. p.m. on April 24, 1998, at the City Hall Bulletin Board, (both outside and inside the entrance to
City Hall) containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Daly called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 5:26 p.m.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
in the amount of
$174,011.34 for the period ending April 13, 1998, $418,380.16 for the period ending April 20, 1998 and
$68,015.99 for the period ending April 27, 1998, in accordance with the 1997-98 Budget, were
approved.
ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:
There were no additions to agenda items.
ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST:
No items of public interest were addressed.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA ITEMS:
There were no public comments on Redevelopment Agency
agenda items.
CONSENT CALENDAR
ITEMS 1-2: On motion by Chairman Daly, seconded by Agency
Member McCracken, the following actions were authorized in accordance with reports and
recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar
agenda:
1.Approving the design of the Downtown Interactive Fountain, and authorizing the Agency to solicit
bids for the Downtown Interactive Fountain improvements.
Submitted was report dated April 28, 1998 from the Community Development Department
recommending approval of the subject design and authorizing solicitation of bids for the improvements.
Lisa Stipkovich, Executive Director of Community Development. She referred to the graphics of the
subject fountain which were displayed on an easel noting that it depicted the fountain that staff had
brought before the Agency about six or seven months ago. It will be located at the intersection of Lemon
and Center Street (Center Street Promenade area) and will be a part of the Disney Travel building
design. They want to go out to bid at this time in order to complete the fountain within the same time
frame as completion of the Disney Travel Building.
Chairman Daly. The design is attractive and they look foward to the installation of the fountain within the
next few months.
2.Approving minutes of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency meeting held
April 7, 1998.
