Sohl EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Lisa Stipkovich A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted at 3:00 p.m. on July 24, 1998, at the City Hall Bulletin Board, (both outside and inside the entrance to City Hall) containing all items as shown herein. Chairman Daly called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 5:26 p.m. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $115,349.39, in accordance with the 1998-99 Budget, were approved. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: There were no additions to agenda items. ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: No items of public interest were addressed. PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA ITEMS: There were no public comments on Redevelopment Agency agenda items. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Chairman Daly, seconded by Agency Member Lopez, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda. 1.166: Awarding a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Architectural Graphics, Inc., in the amount of $107,808 for the Downtown Wayfinding Signage Program; approving an Agreement and authorizing the Chairman to execute said Agreement, and waiving any irregularities in the bid; and in the event the low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder, and waiving any irregularities in the second low bid; authorizing the Agency Executive Director to approve construction change orders up to ten percent of the construction contract amount. Agency Member Zemel. When the issue came up initially, he raised a concern as to whether the Chamber was on board relative to this proposal as well as other businesses regarding the Agency spending money attracting business to downtown. He asked if there was an opportunity to involve the Chamber. Lisa Stipkovich, Executive Director of Community Development. They worked mostly through the Downtown Business Association. The Chamber is definitely aware since the plans have been circulating for over a year. She does not know of any concerns. 2.161: Approving minutes of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency meetings held June 16, 1998, and June 23, 1998.
