ORDINANCE NO. 4771
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 4414 OF THE CITY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim (the #13,14
"City") at its meeting on April 26, 1983, adopted an Ordinance desig- #15
nated as Ordinance No. 4414 providing for procedures for the authori- #16
nation, issuance.and sale of electric refunding revenue bonds of the #17,18
City; and #19
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is neces- #20
sary and desirable to amend said Ordinance No. 4414 in the manner #21,22
hereinafter set forth; #(22)
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM #24
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: #25
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 4414 of the City #26
Council of the City of Anaheim is hereby amended to read, in its #27
entirety, as follows: #(27)
SECTION 3. That the electric revenue refunding bonds
will also be issued in accordance with the provisions of
Sections 53580 to 53589 of the Government Code of the State
of California, as amended from time to time, provided that
notwithstanding said Sections the.proceeds of such refund-
ing bonds and any interest or other investment income
therefrom may only be invested or reinvested in such obli-
gations or securities as shall have been authorized by -res-
olution of the City Council. Such refunding bonds may be
issued at any time in a principal amount sufficient to pro-
vide funds for any or all of the following, as determined
by resolution of the City Council: (a) payment of the
principal of, premium (if any) on, and interest to the date
of maturity or prior redemption on, the bonds to be so
refunded; (b) deposits to bond reserve funds for said
refunding bonds; (c) all or a portion of the interest on
said refunding bonds from the date thereof to such date or
dates as the City Council shall determine; (d) any discount
involved in the sale of said refunding bonds; and (e) all
other costs or expenses incidental to or in connection with
the authorization, issuance or sale of said refunding bonds
and the purchase, redemption or retirement of the bonds to
be so refunded.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty #45

hereby, Ordinance No. 4414 remains in full force and effect. #48
