Request: The applicant requests approval of a
conditional use permit to allow an Equipment Rental –
Large use for a U-Haul Truck Rental for 5 vehicles in
conjunction with Anaheim Postal Place in an existing
commercial retail center.
Environmental Determination: The Planning
Commission will consider whether to find the project
Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State
CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing
Facilities).

Location: 1925 South State College Boulevard
Request: The applicant requests approval of a
conditional use permit and a determination of public
convenience or necessity to permit the sale of alcoholic
beverages for off-premises consumption (Type 20 Off-
Sale Beer and Wine) and on-premises consumption
(Type 41 On-Sale Beer and Wine - Eating Place ABC
License) in conjunction with an 1,800 square foot
restaurant in an existing mixed-use building.
Environmental Determination: The Planning
Commission will consider whether to find the project
Categorically Exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to
State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing
Facilities).

COMMISSION UPDATES
Principal Planner Koehm noted that the Planning Commission would be adjourning to the
December 5, 2022, Planning Commission meeting. The Anaheim/Ball mixed-use project will
be heard by the City Council on November 1, 2022. Principal Planner Koehm explained that
a referendum was filed for the OC VIBE project. He noted that this was Contract Planner
Elizabeth Yee’s last meeting and wished her well.
Assistant City Attorney Mulvihill noted that she would not be present at the December 5th
Planning Commission meeting, but a representative from her office would be.
