The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on protecting children online and data privacy. Witnesses discussed the
prevalence of online predators using social media to exploit minors, and ways tech companies can better regulate their
platforms to protect younger users. They also made recommendations for greater parental controls on devices and what
the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) could do to strengthen online
