A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 7lR-lOO
AMENDING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR EMPLOYMENT
AT THE ANAHEIM STADIUM AND ANAHEIM CONVENTION
CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Personnel Director has met with and discussed
wages and other working conditions for certain classifications of
employees with representatives of the Service and Hospital Employees
Union, Local 399, regarding adjusements of such classifications repre-
sented by said Union because of membership of employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and Personnel Director have recom-
mended to the City Council wages and other working conditions for
classifications as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the compensation plan and classifications listed
below shall be adopted effective February 21, 1972, as follows:

All classifications listed on an hourly basis shall be paid such rate
for hours worked with a four-hour guaranteed minimum per event except
as noted above. Said work period is not restricted to any specific
hours but shall be as required by ANAHEIM for each event. Pay for
more than the minimum shall be compensated in fifteen (15) minute
increments.
All classifications listed above shall also be entitled to the
following:
American League World Series and Play-off Games - Time and one-half.
Major League All Star Games - Time and one-half.

On New Year I s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksg~ving Day and Christmas Day, employees working in the
above classifications shall receive a minimum guarantee equal
to the equivalent of ONE (1) HOURS PAY in addition to the minimums
specified above.
In case of rain out or cancellation of event and if ANAHEIM does
not give reasonable notice, either personally or through public
communications, the above classification employees will receive
NO (2) HOURS I PAY if the employee reports for work and FOUR (4)
HOURS' PAY if the gates are open.

*The classification and rates of "Janitor" above shall apply only
to employees regularly assigned to perform janitorial functions
at specific office locations at Anaheim Stadium. Janitorial-type
functions or services rendered in all other areas shall be per-
formed by Porters and Maids and they shall be paid at the appli-
cable rate for their respective classifications. In the event
ANAHEIM assigns Sweepers, Porters or Maids to perfo~ janitorial
type work in the same specific office locations, employees so
assigned shall receive a premium in the amount of FIFTEEN CENTS
(15~) per hour above their regular hourly rate of pay for each
hour or quarterly fraction thereof that they perform work in these
specific locations.
If leadmen are used by ANAHEIM in any of the above hourly classi-
fications, they shall receive an additional FIFTEEN CENTS (15e)
per hour.
In case of rain out or cancellation of event and if ANAHEIM does
not give reasonable notice, either personally or through public
communications, the above classification employees will receive
TWO (2) HOURS' PAY if the employee reports for work and FOUR (4)
HOURS I PAY if the gates are open. Sweepers shall receive a minimum
of EIGHT (8) HOURS' PAY.

shall receive TIME AND ONE-HALF for work in such hourly classifi-
cation in excess of EIGHT (8) HOURS in any ONE (1) DAY OR FORTY

All classifications listed on an hourly basis shall be paid such

Any pay for more than the minimum shall be compensated in fifteen
(15) minute increments.
For the events where the four-hour minimum rates are applicable
for crowd control employees, they shall be paid such four-hour
minimum rate for each separate event which they work in any day.
On New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, employees working in the above
classifications shall receive a minimum guarantee equal to the equi-
valent of ONE (1) HOURS PAY in addition to the minimums specified
above.
In case of cancellation of event, and if ANAHEIM does not give
reasonable notice, either personally or through public communi-
cations, ANAHEIM will pay to crowd control employees as follows:
'!WO (2) HOURS I PAY if the employee reports for work; and FOUR (4)
HOURS I PAY if the gates are open (as to OTHER TYPE EMPLOYEES _
CONVENTION CENTER, see Section below).

fraction thereof that they perfo~ work in these specific locations.
If leadmen are used by ANAHEIM in any of the above hourly classifi-
cations, they shall receive an additional FIFTEEN CENTS (159) per
hour.
In case of cancellation of event and if ANAHEIM does not give
reasonable notice, either personally or through public communi-
cations, the above classification employees will receive TWO (2)
HOURS I PAY if the employee reports for work and FOUR. (~ HOURS I
PAY if the gates are open. Cleaner Set-up Men shall receive a
minimum of FOUR (4) HOURS I PAY.
All hourly employees in any classification listed in above Section
shall receive TIME AND ONE-HALF for work in such hourly classifi-
cation in excess of EIGHT (8) HOURS in any ONE (1) DAY or FORTY
(40) HOURS in any ONE WEEK.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is
authorized, where there are express authorizations signed by each
employee covered, to submit to the Union Trust Fund a list of
all event-time employees who have worked at the Anaheim Stadium
and Convention Center during the preceding month. For employees
listed under Crowd Control Employees-Stadium, Crowd Control
Employees-Convention Center, Group "BII of other Tfpe Employees-
Stadium, and Group "B" of Other Type Employees-Convention Center,
the Finance Director is authorized to transmit to the Trust Fund
(SOC) for each shift worked.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED for employees listed under
Group "A" of Other Type Employees-Stadium and Group IIA" of Other
Type Employees - Convention Center, the Finance Director is
authorized to submit to the Trust Fund a list of employees who
have signed said express authorizations aDd who have worked and/or
been paid for the equivalent of eighty (80) hours or more during
the preceding month and to transmit to the Trust Fund the sum
