A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 68 69 94 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 17th day
of June 19 69 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line
of the. City of Anaheim, as established by the North-
east Annexation No. 3 to the City of Anaheim, passed
by Ordinance No. 1542,. January 17, 1961 filed with
the Secretary of State July 10,. 1964 and recorded
July 13, 1964, in Official Records of Orange County,
California, said point of beginning being the South-
westerly corner of the land described in deed recorded
May 4, 1960 in Book 5225, page 495 of Official Records,
of. Orange County, California, said Southwesterly corner
and point of beginning being distant from the center
line intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Taylor
Street, now known as Lakeview Avenue, the following
courses and distances: South 82° 24' 33" East 862.09
feet, North 3° 53' 09" East 25.05 feet, as said center
line intersection is shown on a map of Survey filed
in Book 37, page 25 of Record of Surveys in the Office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence
South 82° 24' 33" East 594.86 feet along the said
existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim,
being a portion of the Southerly line of the land des-
cribed in said deed recorded May 4, 1960 in Book 5225,
page 495 of Official Records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, to an intersection with the. Northerly prolonga-
tion of the Westerly line of the land described in
deed recorded June 27, 1957 in Book 3955, page 279 of
Official Records of Orange County, California; thence
South 9° 15' 48" West 461.29 feet along the said
existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim, being
the said Northerly prolongation and a portion of the Westerly
line of the land described in the last mentioned deed
recorded June 27, 1957 in Book 3955, page 279 of
Official Records of Orange County, California, to an
intersection with the Northerly line of the land des-
cribed in deed recorded December 6, 1957, in Book 4125,
page 554 of Official Records of Orange County, California;
thence North 82° 16' 20" West 290.09 feet, leaving
the said existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim
and following along a portion of the Northerly line
of the land described in the last mentioned deed to
an intersection with the Southerly line of the land
described in the deed recorded August 12, 1964, in
Book 7175, pages 493, 494 and 495 of Official Records
of. Orange County, California, said point of intersection
being a point in a curve in said Southerly line concave
Northwesterly and having a radus of 333 feet, a radial
line bearing South 4° 21' 56" East passes through said
point of intersection; thence Southwesterly along the
last mentioned Southerly line, being a portion of
said curve through a central angle of 11° 54' 10"
an arc distance of 69.18 feet; thence continuing along
a portion of said Southerly line North 82° 27' 46"
West 1009.49 feet tangent to said curve, to an inter
section with a line parallel with and 20 feet Easterly
of the centerline of the aforementioned Taylor Street,
now known as Lakeview Avenue; thence North 0° 48' 16"
East 421.58 feet along the last mentioned parallel
line to an intersection with a line parallel with and
25 feet Southerly of the centerline of the aforementioned
Orangethorpe Avenue; thence South 82° 24' 33" East 840.33
feet along the last mentioned parallel line to an inter-
section with the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly
line of the land described in deed recorded May 4, 1960
in Book 5225, page 495 of Official Records of Orange
County, California; thence North 3° 53' 09" East
50.10 feet along the last mentioned prolongation to
the point of beginning.
be excluded from R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE and incorporated in
M -1, LIGHT- INDUSTRIAL ZONE, subject to the following conditions:
1. That the approval of this reclassification is
contingent upon completion of annexation pro
ceedings to the City of Anaheim.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities,
or other appurtenant work shall be complied with
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file
in the Office of the City Engineer, at the time
the property is developed.
3. That dedication shall be made to the City of
Anaheim on all streets within the area, according
to the Circulation Element of the General Plan
"Highway Rights of Way," prior to the adoption
of ordinances rezoning the property.
4. That the owners of subject property shall install
street lighting on all streets within the area,
as required by the Director of Public Utilities
and in accordance with standard plans and speci-
fications on file in the Office of the Director
of Public Utilities, at the time the property
is developed.
5. That a preliminary title report shall be furnished
prior to the adoption of an ordinance rezoning
the property, showing legal vesting of title,
legal description, and containing a map of the
property.
6. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall
be adopted as each parcel is ready to comply
with conditions pertaining to such parcel; PROVIDED,
HOWEVER, that the word "parcel" shall mean presently
existing parcels of record, and any parcel or
parcels approved by the City Council for a lot
split.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City. Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of June, 1969.
