A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A CONVEYANCE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
the hereinafter described property owned by the. City of Anaheim
is no longer needed for City purposes; and
WHEREAS, negotiations have proceeded between Bay
Summit, Incorporated, a California corporation and the City
of Anaheim for the purchase and sale of said approximate 0.807
acres of vacant land; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the negotiated
price of $12,912.00, (based upon $16,000.00 per acre) is fair
and reasonable and that it would be in the best interests of
the City of Anaheim to sell said parcel of land to said Bay
Summit, Incorporated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it authorize and it does hereby
authorize the sale of the following described parcel of land
for a total cash consideration of $12,912.00:
That portion of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range
9 West, S.B.B. M., in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the centerline of the east
bound roadway of Santa Ana Canyon Road as shown on
California State Division of Highways CCM77.191, said
point of commencement being marked by a lead and tack
at station 218 44.19 BC, the bearing of said center-
line for the purpose of this description being North
74° 17' 28" East as shown on Division of Highways
Right of Way Map VII- ORA -43B, F 1839, May 1947; thence
at right angles to said course South 15° 42' 32"
East 50.00 feet to the Southeasterly right of way
line of said Santa Ana Canyon Road; thence North-
easterly along said Southeasterly right of way line
and along a curve concave Northwesterly having a radius
of 2,110.00 feet from a tangent line bearing North
74° 17' 28" East through a central angle of 2° 22'
53" an arc distance of 87.70 feet to the true point
of beginning, said point being marked by a 2" iron
pipe monument tagged L.S. 2921; thence South 0° 01'
52" West 631.00 feet to a 2" iron pipe tagged L.S.
2921; thence North 12 58' 38" East 312.39 feet to
a 2" iron pipe tagged L.S. 2921; thence North 85.00
feet to a 2" iron pipe tagged L.S. 2921; thence
North 5° 43' 57" West 158.97 feet to the Southerly
line of the Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company
right of way, 50.00 feet in width; thence along
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute a grant deed of the hereinabove described parcel
of land in favor of Bay Summit, Incorporated, a California
corporation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 8th day of April, 1969.
