A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES UPON, OVER AND
ACROSS CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public street
purposes; and
WHEREAS, The. Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, owner of said property, has offered to donate and
convey the same to the City subject to the exceptions and re-
servations and upon the terms and conditions set forth in a
certain easement executed by said owner on February 19, 1969,
and delivered to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer to donate and grant said ease
ment to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of The. Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company to donate to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
an easement for public street purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
An easement for public street purposes upon, over and
across that certain irregular shaped parcel of land in
the City of. Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, being a portion of The Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company's 60 foot wide right of way
in Block E as said Block E is shown on a Map of Kraemer
Tract recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88, Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said 60
foot wide right of way distant North 7° 15' 33" West
along the center line of Dowling Avenue, 25.33 feet
from its intersection with the center line of Crowther
Avenue as said center lines now exist; thence North
87° 18' 14" West along said southerly right of way
line, 73.21 feet; thence easterly, northeasterly and
northerly along the arc of a curve tangent to the pre-
ceding course, concave northwesterly and having a radius
of 16.48 feet, through a central angle of 98° 53' 18
a distance of 28.44 feet; thence northerly along the
arc of a curve tangent to the preceding curve, concave
easterly and having a radius of 1253.00 feet, through a
central angle of 1° 53' 31" a distance of 41.37 feet
to a point in the northerly line of said right of way;
thence South 87° 18' 14" East along said northerly
right of way line, 106.87 feet to a point in a curve
concentric with and distant easterly 106.00 feet measured
radially from that certain curve hereinabove described
as having a radius of 1253.00 feet and a length of 41.37
feet; thence Southerly along the arc of said concentric
curve from whence a tangent °bears South 4° 57' 02" East,
concave easterly and having a radius of 1147.00 feet
through a central angle of 2° 18' 31 a distance of
46.22 feet to a point in a line parallel with and
distant easterly 53.00 feet measured at right angles
from said center line of Dowling Avenue; thence South
7° 15' 33" East along said parallel line, 3.71 feet;
thence southerly, southeasterly and easterly along the
arc of a curve tangent to the preceding course, concave
northeasterly and having a radius of 12.91 feet, through
a central angle of 80 °.02' 41 a distance of 18.04
feet to a point in said southerly right of way line;
thence North 87° 18' 14 "`West, tangent to the preceding
curve, along said southerly aright of way line, 64.65
feet to the point of beginning.
Said parcel contains an area of 0.150 of an acre,
more or less.
be and the same is hereby alcepted by the City Council of the

of said real property subject to the exceptions and reservations
and upon the terms and conditions set forth in the easement
dated February 19, 1969, executed by The Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company and delivered to the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 8th day of April, 1969.

EXCEPTING AND RESERVING the right to be exercised by Santa
Fe, and by any others who have obtained, or may obtain
permission or authority from Santa Fe so to. do, (a) to
operat mcnta4h, retie 4 and /or relocate any and all

exiing railroad ttac oi tracks, wires, pipes, and
other facilities of like character upon, over or under
the surface of the hereinabove described premises; and
(b) from time to time to construct, operate, maintain
renew and /or relocate upon said premises additional
facilities of the character described in Clause (a) of
this paragraph, without, in any instance, being required
to obtain the consent of the City, the same as if this
easement had not been executed.
