A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore, duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial or :a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed a
time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hear-
ing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after
having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by for-
mal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending denial of said proposed change in the
boundaries of the zone_or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the day of ,p 19 E9 as the time and the
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the
place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
described as follows:
That portion of the land allotted to Eduardo Polioreno
in Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa
Ana rendered in Case No. 1192 and entered September 12,
1868 in Book 8, page 410 of Judgments of the 17th Judi-
cial District Court of California, together with that
portion of the third class land allotted to Kalisher
and Watenberg in Decree of Partition of the Rancho
Canon de Santa Ana rendered in Case No. 1978 of said
17th Judicial District Court, a certified copy of which
was recorded February 8, 1874 in Book 28, page 158
of Deeds of Los Angeles County, all located in the
County of Orange, State of California described as a
whole as follows:

AT EST:
Beginning at a point on the center line of the Santa
Ana Valley Irrigation Company canal, North. 2651.88 feet
from the Southeast corner of the land of Federico
Botiller as described in the deed recorded June 19,
1901, in Book 62, page 182 of Deeds of said Orange
County; thence North 1438.10 feet to the Northeast
corner of the land described in the deed to Daniel S.
Halladay recorded August 13, 1936 in Book 841, page
134 of Official Records; thence South 69° 00' 00" West
287.20 feet to the. Northwest corner of said land; thence
South 6 00' 00" East to said center line of the Santa
Ana Valley Irrigation Company canal; thence North 74°
20' 00 East 132.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT THAT PORTION THEREOF
Beginning at a point on the. East line of the land of
A. J. Visel et ux, as described in the Deed recorded
April 28, 1932 in Book 555, page 95 of Official Records,
North 1229.42 feet from the center line of the pavement
on Santa Ana Canyon Road, as laid- -.out and constructed
by the County of Orange in 1926; thence North 40.00 feet
along said East line; thence West 32.00 feet at right
angles; thence South 40.00 feet at right angles; thence
East 32.00 feet to the point of beginning.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion thereof described in the Deed
to the State of California recorded July 1, 1968 in Book
8646, page 340 of Official Records.
remain in R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incorporated,
and that the reclassification to R -2, MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 8th day of April, 1969.
