A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
GILBERT L. SCHROEDER and OPAL M. SCHROEDER,
husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 10.25 feet of the Northerly
57.25 feet of that portion of Vineyard Lot G -6, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds,
records of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows: Beginning at a point 144.75 feet Westerly
measured at right angles from the monumented centerline
of Harbor Boulevard, formerly known as South Palm Street,
and 38.25 feet Northerly, measured at right angles from
the monumented centerline of West Water Street; thence
Northerly parallel with said centerline of Harbor Boule-
vard, 513.25 feet to the Northerly line of property con-
veyed to Joseph W. Heinz and wife, by deed recorded
August 23, 1939 in Book 1009, page 173 of Official Records;
thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said property
to a point 34.75 feet Westerly at right angles from the
monumented centerline of Harbor Boulevard; thence
Southerly along a line parallel to said monumented cen-
terline of Harbor Boulevard, 513.25 feet, more or less,
to a point in a line 38.25 feet Northerly, measured at
right angles from the monumented centerline of West
Water Street, which line is the Northerly line of West
Water Street, as fixed by that certain deed recorded
January 8, 1927 in Book 10, page 81 of Official Records;
thence Westerly along said Northerly line of West Water
Street, 110 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
