A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY 6F ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road and public
utility purposes

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JAMES J. SLOAN a widower
and HEN H• and C•RMENE H• husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for easements for road and
ublic util it r •uses

An easement for road and public utilty purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land being a portion of Lot 24 of the Gol-
den State Tract No. 2, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4,
Page 68 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 24, said corner
being the center line intersection of East La Palma Avenue and
Acacia Street, as shown on the Map of Tract No. 1364, recorded
in Book 52, pages 42 and 43 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County; thence North 0 48t 10" West 225.00 feet
along the center line of said Acacia Street; thence Westerly
parallel with the center line of said La Palma Avenue to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 32.00 feet Westerly
(as measured at right angles) from the center line of said
Acacia Street; thence Southerly along the last mentioned parallel
line a distance of 156.33 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence
Southerly and Westerly along said curve through a central angle
of 90 481 10" an arc distance of 23.77 feet to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Northerly (as measured
at right angles) from the center line of said La Palma Avenue;
thence Westerly tangent to said curve along the last mentioned
parallel line to an intersection with the West line of the East
155 feet of said Lot 24 of the Golden State Tract No. 2; thence
Southerly along the said West Line to an intersection with the
center line of said La Palma Avenue; thence Easterly along the
center line of said La Palma Avenue to the point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for public utility cross arm and electric
power line overhang purposes over, under and across the Westerly
3 feet of the Easterly 155 feet of the Southerly 225.00 feet of
Lot 24 of the said Golden State Tract No. 2
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of December 19 63
