63-0965RESOLUTION NO. 63R- 965 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and jEubl is utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK, a California corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rear property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and publ3tc utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across those parcels of land described as follows: PARCEL ONE: The Westerly 10.25 feet of Lot One of Tract No. 829 as shown on a map recorded in Book 31, Page 49 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. PARCEL TWO: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Lot One of Tract No. 829 as shown on a map recorded in Book 31, Page 49 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said Lot One a distance of 15.15 feet; thence Easterly along a line parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot One a distance of 10.25 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and 10.25 feet Easterly of the West line of said Lot One, said point of intersection being the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 90 08 30" an arc distance of 23.60 feet to an intersection with the Southerly line of said Lot One; thence Westerly along the South line of said Lot One to the point of beginning. Except- ing therefrom any portion of Parcel One, above described. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
