A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GULF OIL CORPORATTON
OF CALIFOEM
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particular y descri a as o o ws:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 15, Block K of the
Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 12,
pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of La Palma
Avenue and Dowling Avenue (for the purpose of this des-
cription said point of intersection is assumed to be
the Southwest corner of said Lot 15); thence North 16
53 30" West along the center line of said Dowling
Avenue a distance of 203.00 feet; thence North 73° 04 36"
East 53.00 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 53.00 feet Easterly, as measured at right angles
from the center line of said Dowling Avenue; thence
South 16° 531 30" East along the last mentioned parallel
line a distance of 125.00 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius
of 25.00 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said
curvethrough a central angle of 90° Olt 54" an arc dis-
tance of 39.28 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and S3.00 feet Northerly, as measured at right angles
from the center line of said La Palma Avenue; thence North
73° 04 36" East a distance of 125.00 feet; thence South
16 531 30" East a distance of 53.00 feet to the center
line of said La Palma Avenue; thence South ?3 04 36"
West along the center line of said La Palma Avenue to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and th:.t the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
