SUBJECT: DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION NO. 2022-00039
LOCATION: 308 West Vermont Avenue
APPLICANT/PROPERTY OWNER: The applicant is Scott Ayres of Beacon
Management Solutions and property owner is Jose L. Rodriguez.
REQUEST: The applicant requests approval of a variance to reduce required interior
property line setbacks from 20 feet to four feet and to reduce interior property line
landscape setbacks from five feet to four feet in conjunction with a proposed four-unit
apartment building. In addition to the requested variance for reduced interior property
line and landscape setbacks, a variance from the required common open space area is
being requested by the applicant. The public notice for this item did not include the
common open space area variance request. As such, a new public hearing notice is
required to describe the variance request.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission continue
Development Application No. 2022-00039 to the April 24, 2023 Planning
Commission meeting. A revised public hearing notice for the item will be sent out for
this meeting.
