A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CAROUSEL MOTEL. a
2artnership,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following descri a rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly descriE as o Tows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Westerly 60.00 feet (as measured at right angles
to the center line of Harbor Boulevard) of that portion of
the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of the South-
east quarter of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 22, South 0° 141 30" East 128.40
feet from the center of said Section 22, said center point
being the intersection of the center line of Cerritos Avenue
from the West, with the North and South quarter Section
line of said Section 22, said point of beginning being the
Northwest corner of the land described in deed to Robert
H. Ingram, et al, recorded February 28, 1958 in Book 4213,
page 81 of Official Records; thence North 89 56' 00" East
660.70 feet to the Northeast corner of said Ingram land;
thence North 0 151 00" West 85.75 feet to the Southeast
corner of the land described in deed to Carmen Scalzo and
wife, recorded February 13, 1958 in Book 4 page 511 of
Official Records; thence Westerly along the Southerly line
of said Scalzo land, 660.65 feet to the West line of said
Southeast quarter of Section 22; thence South 00 14' 30"
East along said West line of Section 22, a distance of
85.87 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED th =.t the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
