Vermont Ave To Whom It May Concern: We are writing to request a Variance of the above referenced site. The site currently has a single family residence and we would like to develop a 4-unit apartment building. We are requesting a variance on the side building setbacks in order to accommodate the new structure. To provide the 10 parking spaces required, the parking would need to be grade level parking, which is consistent with the other multi-family units in the block. The width of the lot is only 52 feet so to provide the minimum 18 foot parking and 26 foot driveway, there is only 8 feet wide left and are proposing the side setbacks at 4 feet on each side. The existing structure only has 2 feet set back. Other properties on the street demonstrate side setbacks less than 5 feet as well, so reducing the building setbacks confirms to the existing structures on the street Sincerely, Scott Ayres Attachment No. 3
