Attachment 2 - Project Description and Operational LetterChildtime # 209 1004 S. State College Blvd. APN. 253-181-42 Proposed Project Description: Learning Care Group proposes to construct a new 2,046 SF building in an existing landscape area at an existing church. This will provide (2) new classrooms. Classroom 1 will be for 24 Pre-K children ages 3-4 with two staff members. Classroom 2 will be for 28 school age children ages 5-12 with two staff members The proposal also includes a 3,712 SF new artificial turf area with (2) play yards and playground equipment to be installed. The existing day care use occupies a 6,866 SF building. The original CUP, CUP 1993, was approved on June 18, 1979. This proposal will include a request to modify hours of operation from 7 am to 6 pm, to 6:30 am to 9 pm. The CUP indicates approval of 111 students (+ 49 ROP students), we would like to have a total number of 160 students. Those additional students will be placed in the two new classrooms proposed. The school has 10 drop off and pick up parking stalls located in the south parking lot with a total of 87 parking spaces. These spaces are adjacent to the school and are utilized throughout the day for pickup and drop off beginning at 6:30am and concluding at 9pm. Including staff, there is a maximum requirement of 44 cars in the south parking lot for the Childtime use. There are various church activities that occur during the week and the entire east side parking lot is used for this away from the new building with a total of 80 parking spaces. Please see 209 AUMC CT schedule table A for a breakdown of activities. Different church related activities throughout the week 9am-3pm, and 6pm-8pm and using a maximum of 50 parking spaces. There are some night activities that start at 6pm-8pm. All these activities are on the opposite side of the campus from the Childtime daycare. The proposal includes a new playground attached to the new school building. This will include two play structures and artificial turf. Additional landscaping is proposed around the new school building. The total number of required parking spaces for the church is 160. This number is based on the maximum attendance for a holiday church service with typical weekly attendance of 110 people. Attachment No. 2
