71R-441 .,~. RES.OLUTION NO~ 71R-441 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTBNTION TO VACATE CER- TAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elec.ted to proceed under the provisions of the Str.eet Vacation Act. of 1941 in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of certain real property hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City -Council of the City of Anahe~ that it does hereby declare that .it intends to vacate, abandon and close to public use' a portion of roadway commonly known as Woodwind Lane, formerly known as Orchard Drive, located north of Orangethorpe, east of Kellogg Drive, located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and State of California more particularly described as follows: Those portions of certain roads commonly known as Woodwind Lane and Post Lane formerly known as Orchard Drive located in the City of Anahefm, County of Oranqe, State of California, to be abandoned described as ' follows: Beqinninq at the northwest corner of Lo't One of Tract No. 4181, as shown on a map recorded in Book 156, pages 21 through 23., Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County; thence S 30 26' 26" W along the we.st line of Lot One of said Tract No. 4181 to the beqinninq of a tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a radius of 17 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 680 52' 48" an arc distance of 20.43 feet; thence N 650 26' 22" W, 54.54 feet to the centerline of said Post Lanel thence N 790 35.' 58" W, 20.15 feet to the westerly right of way line of said Post Lane: thence N 30 26' 26" E, 80.59 feet along a portion of the west line of said Post Lane to an inter- section with a line parallel with and 20 feet southerly of the centerline of said Woodwind Lane; thence N 790 35' 581' W, 577.66 feet along said parallel line to a point; thence S 500 09' 08" W, 31.17 feet to an inter- section with the easterly right of way line of Kellogg Drive: thence N 00 46' 00" W, 23.58 feet to a point in a curve concave northeasterly and having a radius of 1,15"5 feet, a radial line bearing N 890 141 00" E passes through said point; thence Northwesterly along said curve throu9h a central angle of 20 071 IS" an arc distance of 42.75 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and 20 feet northerly of 1:he centerline of said Woodwind Lane; t.hence S 790 351 58" E, 644.92 feet along the last mentioned parallel line to a point; thence S 30 26' 26'. W, 20..15 feet; thence 5 830 11' 42" E, 20.04 feet to. the point of beqinning. --. Reserving therefrom a public utility easement over, under and across the northerly 8 feet, ,the north- easterly 8 feet and the easterly 8 feet 'of the 'parcel above described. Also reserving therefrom a public utility easement over, under and across the southerly five feet thereof. and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the .Street Vacation Act of 1941. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment has been fixed" on the 26th day of October, 1971, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED 'that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner pres'cribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
