A RESOLUTI01J OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF Iu'lAHElr-! DETEHMlrJI~lG THE NECESSITY FOR AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN
OF P~AL PROPERTY FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES (TARDIE, INC. AND DINKLER PROPERTIES) .
WHEHEAS, public convanience and necessitv require the
acquisi tion of certain real propert', wi thin the City of Anaheim
for the follo'!"~ling purposes, to wi t: p-. road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of all
that certain real property herein described by the City of
Anaheim for road and public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition of that certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL A: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over1 under and across a strip of land 64.00
feet in width lying in that portion of Lot 4, Block 23
of the Golden State Tract, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 4, pages 66 and 67, !'.iiscellaneous 1v1..a:ps, Records
of Orange County; California, the centerline of said
strip being described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Park Vista
Street and Jackson Avenue; thence ~t 890 51' 10" E, along
tl1e centerline of said Jac]cson Avenue, 575.57 feet to
the beginning of a curve concave southwesterly and having
a radius of 600 feet; thence Easterly and Southerly along
said curve through a central angle of 2011 15' 51" an arc
distance of 212.21 feet to the beginning of a reverse
curve concave northerly and having a radius of 600 feet;
thence Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a
central angle of 110 591 52a an arc distance of 125.64
feet to the point of intersection \'1ith the easterly line
of said Lot 4, said point of intersection being 75.87
feet northerly of the southeast corner of said Lot 4, said
point of intersection also being the point of te~inus of
the herein described line.
The northerly and southerly lines of said strip to be
lengthened or shortened as the case may be to coincide
with the southwesterly line and the easterly line of said
Lot 4.

purposes over, under and across a strip of land 64.00 feet
in width lying within that portion of the East 145.00 feet

the herein described line.
The northerly and southerly lines of said strip to be
lengthened or shortened as the case may be to coincide
with the southwesterly line and the easterly line of said
Lot 4.
PARCEL C: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that portion of Lot 4,
Block 23 of the Golden State Tract, as shown .on a map
recorded in Book 41 pages 66 and 67 of I'1iscellaneous
!~ps, Records of Orange County, California, lying
southerly of the southerly line of that strip of land
described as Parcel B above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City.Council does here~y
find and determine that public interest and necessity require the
acquisition of said land bv the City of Anaheim for the afore-
mentioned purposes and that the taking of the property herein-
before described is necessary therefor and that the uses to which
it is to be put are uses authorized by law and the taking of said
property is necessary to such uses.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council. does hereby
authorize the acquisition of said property by the City of
Anaheim, and the City Attorney of the City of AnaI1eim is hereby
directed to institute an action in eminent domain for the acqui-
sition of the title to said property, and to perform and carry
out all of the necessary proceedings and steps incident to the
acquisition of the title to said property and to acquire immediate
possession thereof.
