A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE. BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOOLD BE CHANGED~
WHEREAS, the city Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommendinq denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title .18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, wi thin a period of forty (4.0) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare .its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafte.r
mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said res.olution, sUIllIl\ary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the .City
planning Commission, th.e City Council did fix the. .7th day of
S.eptember. ,19 71_, and continued to the . '14.1:h -day of
Septemb'er. I 19-n- , as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Harr in the City of Anaheim as.the place for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said .property, here-
inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situated and
the incorporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and
did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in
said Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place. fixed for said public
he.aring, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said pUblic
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which. it is now situated;
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth.

NOW, THEREFORE I BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that all of the property
and area situated in the city of Anaheim, county of Orange, State

That portion of the land allotted to Eduardo Polloreno
in Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa
Ana rendered in Case No. 119.2 and entered September 12,.
1868 in Book B page 410 of Judgments of the 17th Judicial
District Court of California, together with that portion
of the third class land allotted to Kalisher and Waten-
berg in Decree of Partition of the Rancho Canon De Santa
Ana rendered in Case No. 1978 of said 17th Judicial
District Court, a certified copy of which was recorded
February 8, 1874 in Book 28 page 158 of Deeds of Los
Angeles County, all located in the County of Orange, State
of California described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of the Santa Ana
Valley Irrigation Company Canal, North 2651..88 feet from
the Southeast corner of the land of Federico Botiller
as described in the deed recorded June 19, 1901 in book
62 page 182 of Deeds of said Orange County; thence North
1438.10 feet to the Northeast corner of the land described
in the deed to Daniel S. Halladay recorded August 13,
1936 in Book 94l page 134 of Official Records; thence
South 690 00' AD.. ~lest 287.20 feet to the. Northwest
corner of said land; thence South 60 00' 00" East to
said center line of the Santa Ana Valley Irrigation

recorded December 14, 1914 and recorded in Book 2, page
19, Record of Surveys, in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, more parti-cularly

Beginning at a point which bears South 680 40' Wes.t 760.44
feet and South 00 l6' East 10.72 feet from a 4" x 4" X 2"
pipe set in a concrete monument marking S~ S. A. No. 38;
thence South 00 16' East 1,289.67 feet to a point on the
center line of the Santa Ana Valley Irrigation Company's
Canal; thence, along the center line of said Canal, North 740
02' East 284.17 feet to a point; thence North 00 17' West

incorporated in the City of Anaheim, R-2-5,OOO ONE-FAMILY ZONE,
subject to the following conditions:
1. That these reclassification proceedings are granted
subject to completion of annexation of subject property to the
City of Anaheim.

3. Prior to the introduction of an ordinance rezoning
subject property, Conditions Nos. 1 and 2, above mentioned, shall
be completed, and final elevations and floor plans shall be
submitted to and approved by the City Council~ The provisions or
rights granted by this resolution shall become null and void by
action of the City Council unless said conditions are complied
with within 180 days from the date hereof or such further time
as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed 'to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
