RESOLUTION NO. 71R-367
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OP THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMEND-
ED AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN
ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planninq Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
inqs No. 71-72-4 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code relatinq to zoninq, and to consider
a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence
and repo.rts from persons interested therein and from its staff:
and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days followinq said
hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the proposed
amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a certain zone
or zones be chanqed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ninq Commission the City Council did fix the ~ day of August,
19~, as the time, and the City Council Cham6irS in the City
Barr-of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearinq upon
said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal COde,'
and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter described, from
the zone or zones in which it is now situated and the incorpora-
tion thereof in ehe zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form provided in said Title
18 of ~he Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said pUblic
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearin9
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider ~he summary of evidence presented at said public hearing
before the Planning Commission, its report of findings and recom-
mendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth.
NOW" THEREPORE" BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the fOllowing des-
cribed property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

Parcell: The west 49 feet of the north 236.02 -feet of
the northeast one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter of
Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M,
EXCEPTING THE.REFROM the northerly 66 feet thereof lying
within Lincoln Avenue.
Parcel 2: The east 130.02 feet. of 1:he west 17-9.02. "feet
of the north 236.02 feet of the northeast one-quarter of

66 feet lying within Lincoln Avenue.
Parcel 4: The north half of the northeast one-"quarter of
the northeast one-quarter of Section 18', Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the northerly
344 feet (as measured to the centerline of Lincoln Avenue)

DISTRICT and R2-1500, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT and
incorporated into City of Anaheim, C-l, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE
for Parcel Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, and R-3, MULTIPLE-F~LY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, for Parcel 4, upon the following conditions:
1.
That these reclassification proceedings are qranted
subject to the completion of annexation of subject
property into the City of Anaheim.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilit.ies, or ot.her

appurtenant work shall be complied with as required
by the City Enqineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the office of the
City Engineer, at the time the property is developed.
That the owners of subject property sh'al1 install street
lightinq on all streets within the area, as required
by the Director of Public Utilities at the time the
propert.y is developed.
That a preliminary title report shall be furnished
prior to the adoption of the ordinance rezoninq each
parcel of the property, showing legal vesting of title,
legal description, and containing a map of t.he property.
That drainage shall be disposed of in a manner satis-
factory to the City Engineer.
That ordinances reclass'ifyinq the property shall' be
adopt.ed as each parcel is ready to comply with con-
ditions pertaining to such parcel, provided, however,
t.hat the word "parcel" shall mean presently existing
parcels of record and parcel or parcels' approved by
the City Council for a lot split.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit .to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
