RES-2023-043RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 043 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2022-139, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING, DELETING AND/OR MODIFYING CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS, RATES OF COMPENSATION, AND PAY POLICIES FOR CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS NON - REPRESENTED FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the position classification and compensation plan; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated June 27, 2023, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for classifications designated as Non -Represented Full - Time and Part -Time effective the pay period beginning July 7, 2023; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2022-139, has established and modified classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for Non -Represented Full -Time and Part - Time classifications; and WHEREAS, such additions, deletions and modifications require an amendment to Section 1 of Resolution No. 2022-139, as amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating, deleting and/or modifying such classifications and pay policies for classifications designated as Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: SECTION 1. That effective the pay period beginning July 7, 2023, Appendix B, Non -Represented Non - Sworn Management of the Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees, is hereby amended by modifying the classification titles and rates of compensation for the following classifications on a step structure: Classification Title Steps Hourly Salary Range Executive Secretary — Employee Relations 04 — 09 $28.72 — $36.66 SECTION 2. Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2022-139, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. 2023. The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2022-139, as amended, is July 7, SECTION 4. The Human Resources Director shall be delegated with the authority to publish the authorized salary schedule in Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees in any format meeting the requirements of the California Code of Regulations section 570.5. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
