WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner, in fee title, of certain property located generally at 1015 and 1019 E. Vermont Avenue, Assessor Parcel Numbers: 037-262-007 and 037-262-020; and WHEREAS, Rose Place is a street currently having a dedicated half -width of twenty-seven feet where said street abuts the property of the City ofAnaheim; and WHEREAS, the General Plan of the City of Anaheim contemplates Rose Place be widened an additional eleven feet on the east side together with a comer cut off in the portion ofRose Place abutting the City -owned property; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim and the public generally to widen Rose Place to the dimensions and capacity shown on the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby dedicates that certain City -owned property described in Exhibits A and B attached hereto and incorporated by this reference herein for public road and utility purposes; provided however, that nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street system (Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk be, and is.hereby, authorized and directed to record this Resolution in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
