residents than Anaheim. He advised the City has expanded testing and is already making plans for

Subject: Congratulations to the newly elected councilmembers, Faessel too
More diversification,
In our economy: Disney & tourism cannot sustain our community ad infinitum.
In our housing policy: our city has not adhered to our own RHNA #'s, instead permitting hundreds of Market
Rate units while longtime locals are being displaced.
In public safety: our city can be better designed/built to foster public safety, police can't be everywhere at all
times and often increase risk & liabilities when engaging the public & public space.
I hope you represent the best interest of the entire community and not just those who believe in your candidacy
only enough to contribute mainly in the last 90 days prior to election.

Hello,
My name is Christina Wilmer and I am a resident of Orange County, California reaching out to you in regards to the
death of Christopher Eisinger.
In 2018, Christopher Eisinger was killed by five Anaheim police officers while walking down a sidewalk. The five officers
held him down for over 5 minutes with their knees on his head, neck, and back until he suffocated. They exerted so
much force on Christopher that he ended up with five fractures in his face and his eye out of his socket. Once
Christopher stopped breathing, not one officer attempted to save his life. Instead, they stood by and waited over 8
minutes for the paramedics to arrive. Christopher was an unarmed Black man who deserves to still be here with us
today. Since his death, none of the officers who murdered him have been charged or reprimanded for their actions, and
are still working. Anaheim PD has a long and dark history of brutality, and as long as these officers continue to have their
jobs, innocent killings of more Black people will continue to happen.
demand that Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer reopen the investigation into the death of Christopher
Eisinger. Todd Spitzer must press charges against all five officers and Anaheim PD must fire and remove the mentions of
all officers involved in the killing of Christopher Eisinger, including the training officer. The Eisinger family will never truly
have justice because a son, father and brother was taken from them but the city of Anaheim and Orange County must
take responsibility for their actions against one of our own.
I demand action now!

Subject: Covenant House Site!
To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing in support of the proposed Covenant House site at 632 N. East Street in Anaheim. I am a resident
of Anaheim and have watched as the challenge of homelessness in our city continues to increase. As a donor to
Covenant House, I am inspired by the work they do to not only get kids off the streets but to help them gain the
skills necessary to become productive members of their community.
Having a Covenant House in Anaheim will take young people who are currently homeless (and may be causing
problems in our city)
off the street. This will not only improve the safety of our city but will do so much to help youth who have
been left behind by their families or society.
I strongly urge you to support the proposed plan to open a Covenant House in Anaheim.
Thank you.

Subject: Little Arabia Designation
Hello, my name is Karen Malley, and I am an Anaheim resident. I am here to speak out in support of the Little
Arabia Designation. I support the designation because I think it is one way to honor the Arab culture in a
country where that has not always been the case.
There are many cultural and ethnic enclaves across Southern California such as the neighboring Little Saigon,
Koreatown, Little Armenia, and others. These enclaves have contributed to the state's tourism, culture, and
vibrancy. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia. It makes our city richer,
monetarily and culturually and it may help our Arabic businesses at the same time. Thank you for your time
and please consider designating Little Arabia.

The old man must have stopped our car two dozen times to climb out and gather into his hands the small toads
blinded by our lights and leaping, live drops of rain. The rain was falling, a mist about his white hair and i kept
saying, "You can't save them all, accept it. Get back in. We've got places to go."
But leathery hands full of wet brown life knee deep in the summer roadside grass, he just smiled and said,
"They have places to go too." Joseph Bruchac

Hello Mayor Sidhu and Council Members of Anaheim I am Jackson Salinas furloughed Disneyland Cast
Member. I am emailing you to have a special council meeting or to have on the next agenda to discuss at the
next meeting to defy the Governors Regional Stay-at-home order as well as getting neighboring cites to form a
coalition that will defy the order as well. Also, to declare yourself as a sanctuary city for businesses including
Disneyland. We cast members want to back to work and make magic again for all of our guests. If we have to
wait longer more cast members including myself will get laid off if this keeps going on for more months instead
of three weeks.
I'm not just talking about Disneyland I am talking about all the businesses in the city that rely on the tourism
that Disneyland brings that have to stay shut down all because of these orders. For the sake of us cast members
and businesses, please defy the governor's orders and let Disneyland open up 100%.
I hope you take this into consideration.
Sincerely,
Jackson Salinas

Designate "Little Arabia"
Hello, my name is Annemarie Randle-Trejo and I am an Anaheim resident. I am here to "speak out" in support
of the Little Arabia Designation. I support the designation for numerous and sound reasons as stated below.
Little Arabia is home to hundreds of Arab American businesses which has become a cultural destination to
countless American families from all over Southern California. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially
designate Little Arabia.
Little Arabia's cultural and economic prosperity encourages further development in the area which will benefit
both the City of Anaheim and the Arab American businesses. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially
designate Little Arabia.
Designating Little Arabia will bring commerce and tourism into the City of Anaheim - especially since COVID-
19 has affected the business and nightlife of the vibrant corridor. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially
designate Little Arabia.
In supporting the designation, you are supporting the immigrant community and their small businesses. It is
time for the City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
In supporting this designation, you are making a lasting change in the Arab American immigrant community
and uplifting their small businesses. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
Numerous Little Arabia businesses have closed due to Covid-19 and the new government ordered shutdowns.
Supporting this designation will aid in the City of Anaheim's economic recovery.
The Arab -American community has contributed to Anaheim's economy and culture by opening restaurants,
mosques, churches, clothing stores, hair salons, bakeries, and other destinations for those who wish to
experience the Arab culture. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
Thank you for your time and please consider designating Little Arabia.

Hello, my name is Reina E. Lopez and I am an Anaheim resident. I am here to speak out in support of
the Little Arabia Designation. I support the designation because I enjoy the feeling of the Arab
community and it will reflected even more when we have it named "Little Arabia".
Thank you for your time and please consider designating Little Arabia.
• Little Arabia is home to hundreds of Arab American businesses which has become a cultural
destination to countless American families from all over Southern California. It is time for the
City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
• Little Arabia's cultural and economic prosperity encourages further development in the area
which will benefit both the City of Anaheim and the Arab American businesses. It is time for the
City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
• Designating Little Arabia will bring commerce and tourism into the City of Anaheim - especially
since COVID-19 has affected the business and nightlife of the vibrant corridor. It is time for the
City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
• In supporting the designation, you are supporting the immigrant community and their small
businesses. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially designate Little Arabia.
• In supporting this designation, you are making a lasting change in the Arab American immigrant
community and uplifting their small businesses. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially
designate Little Arabia.
• There are many cultural and ethnic enclaves across Southern California such as the neighboring
Little Saigon, Koreatown, Little Armenia, and others. These enclaves have contributed to the
state's tourism, culture, and vibrancy. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially designate
Little Arabia.
• Numerous Little Arabia businesses have closed due to Covid-19 and the new government
ordered shutdowns. Supporting this designation will aid in the City of Anaheim's economic
recovery.
• The Arab -American community has contributed to Anaheim's economy and culture by opening
restaurants, mosques, churches, clothing stores, hair salons, bakeries, and other destinations for
those who wish to experience the Arab culture. It is time for the City of Anaheim to officially
designate Little Arabia.
Thank you for allowing me to express my humble request.
Very Respectfully,
Reina E. Lopez

Subject: Senior rental assistance program enables extortion of seniors
Please commit to sustainable housing policy. Commit to adhering to our own RHNA requirements.
Stop enabling extortion of our seniors through programs like the senior rental assistance fund; it is not
affordable housing policy like it's being touted.
That program is not sustainable and it enables the extortion of seniors as has been documented in the news as
being the practice by Rancho La Paz mobile home park, a community of seniors. Rancho La Paz has been in the
news for years prior to this year, John Saunders being identified as the land owner. It's been recorded in the
campaign finance disclosure forms that the majority of the council has received contributions from John
Saunders. He also contributes to the Anaheim chamber of commerce & SOAR, major contributors of yours.
His $ seems to be loud & heard since the council has gleefully adopted the practice of accepting $ into the
senior rental assistance program in lieu of actual affordable housing units being built/permitted (I do appreciate
councilmembers that have encouraged discussion of this issue). Stop enabling the extortion of seniors.
Onward,
Edgar Arellano

God will not look kindly on those who enable the extortion of our seniors to transfer wealth to owners with
practices like John Saunders.
