RESOLUTION NO. 66R-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning COIIIIdssion of the City of
Anaheim'did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 65-66-63 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code re1atfag to zoning, and to consider a
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence
and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff;
and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following
said hearing thereon the Planning Commission did duly adapt
a resolution containing a report of its findings, a SUlllll8ry
of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a recOlllDe~dation
that certain zones be changed and that a change in the bound-
aries of certain other zones be denied, as more particularly
set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, sUlllD8.ry of
evidence, report of findings, ard recolIIID8ndation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 25th day of
January, 1965, as the time and the City Council Chambers in the
City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
ing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property described
in said Planning Commission resolution, from the zone or zones
in which it is now situated, and the incorporation thereof in
the zone or zones set forth in said proposed amendment; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing, and did give all per SODS interested therein an opportunity
to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at said
public hearing before the Planning Colllllission, its report of
findings, and recoauendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City ot Anaheim t~t Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the follow-
ing described property, situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of orange, State of California, to wit:

PORTION "A"

PARCEL" ONE:
The westerly 137.75 feet, from the monumented center line
of Harbor Boulevard, of that portion of Block 8 of "a re-
plat of the Orchard Park Tract, City of ADaheim, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 7, Page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange Coun~y, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Block 8 of a re-
plat of the Orchard Park Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 7, "page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County. thence Easterly along the Northerly line of
said Block," 249.75 feet; thence Southerly parallel to the
Westerly line of said Block 8, 229.5 feet; thence Westerly
parallel wi~h the Northerly line of said Block, 249.75 feet
to the Westerly line of said Block; thence Northerly along
the Westerly line of said Block 8, 229.5 feet to the place
of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Northerly 30 feet and the Westerly
34.75 feet of said land conveyed to the City of Anaheim for

EXCEPTING THEREFROM the westerly 34.75 feet of said land
conveyed - to the City of Anaheim for road and public utility
purposes.

ZONE and that it be changed to and incorporated in the following
zones, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth:
That Portions "A", "B" and ''D'' above described shall be
changed to and incorporated in C-O, CCltMERCIAL OFFICE
ZONE; and
That Portions "c" and "E" above. described shall be changed
to and incorporated in C-l, GENERAL CClMERCIAL ZONE. .
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following condi-
tions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width, 'from
the center line of the street along Harbor Boulevard,
south of Vermont Avenue only, for street widening
purposes, including a lS-foot radius corner return at
Vermont Avenue.

That the owners of subj ect iroperty shall deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of ana 45 feet in width,
from the center line of the street, along Harbor

Boulevard, north of Vermont Avenue only, for street
widening purposes, including a lS-foot radius corner
return at South Street and Hampshire Street.
That sidewalks shall be installed along South Street,
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in the
Office of the City Engineer, prior to final building
inspection.
(a) That all engfneering requirements of the City of
Anaheim along Harbor Boulevard, including preparation
of improvement plans and installation of all improve-
ments, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other
appurtenant work shall be complied with as required by
the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file 'in the Office of the City
Engineer; and (b) that a bond in an amount and form
satisfactory to the City of Anaheim shall be ~osted
with the City to guarantee the installation of said
engineering requirements.
That plans for any development of the C-O, CODID8rcial
Office Zone, property shall be submitted to the City
Council for approval.
That Conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 4 (b) above-mentioned
shall be complied with within a period of 180 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant.
That each parcel of subject propert~ may be reclassified
separately, upon completion of the foregoing conditions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
be is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
