THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DG:;S ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
W&&Ri+AS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did
heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to change
the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and
did fix a time and place for the holding of public hearings thereon in the
manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municioal
Code and did duly hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such pro-
posed change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports front per-
sons interested therein and did recommend a change or changes of zones as set
forth in Hes olut ions) No (s) . 16 -- Series 1954-55 of the City
Planning Commission; and
W22EAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 24th day of , Augugt _,_,__,
19 q., as the time, and the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of
Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed change or
changes of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHE2EAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the
City Council did 'hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons
interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and
reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and did thereupon adopt Resolution (s) No(s). ' 2513
finding and determining that a change or changes of zone should be made as set
forth in said resolution(s).
14'GW, THEREFORE,, THE; CITY COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF jUVAHEIIJi DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTICiN 1.
That Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code "establish-
ing zones in the City of Anaheim and therein regulating the use of land,
height of buildings and yard spaces; adopting a map showing the boundaries of
said zone; defining the terms used in said Article and Chaxjter; providing for
amendment and enforcement thereof; prescribing penalties for violation and re-
pealing all sections or parts of section in conflict therewith" be, and the
same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in
said Article IX, Chapter 2 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing
such change or changes as follows:
1. That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Grane, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
The area bounded by Manchester Avenue, Euclid Avenue,
Crescent Avenue and Loara Street, more particularly
described as follows:

That portion of the West half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, partly in the City of Anaheim,
Ao,%, and all in the County of Orange, State of California, as
the said West half of the Southwest quarter of Section 9
is shown on a map marked Exhibit "A" and attached to the
original Complaint, Case No. 41023, Superior Court of the
State of California, in and for the County of Orange,
described as follows:
Beginnin at a point on the West line of said Section 9, North
0° 43t 26" West 567 feet from its intersection with the North-
easterly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's 100-
foot right-of-way; thence at right anles North 89' 16t 32"
East 30 feet; thence South 23° 13t 28' East 68.88 feet; thence
South 45° 431 28tt East 99.98 feet to the beginning of a curve
concave to the So�_zthwest and having a radius of 92 feet; thence
Southeasterly 72.26 feet along said curve to a point of tangency
with a line parallel with and easterly 154 feet from said West
line of Section 9; thence South 0° 43t 28" East 84.23 feet along
said parallel line to the North line of the Southwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter of said Section 9 and being the North line
of the land described in deed to '4m. Koerner, recorded April 6,
1892 in Book 53, Page 244 of Deeds of said Orange County; thence
Easterly along said Northerly line to the Northeast corner of
said Koerner land; thence Southerly along the Easterly line of
said Koerner land to a line parallel with and 481.42 feet
Southerly (measured along the Easterly line) of said Northerly
line of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 9; thence Easterly along said last mentioned parallel
line to the East line of the said West half of the Southwest
quarter; thence Northerly along said last mentioned Easterly
line to the Northeast corner of the said West half of the
Southwest quarter of Section 9; thence Westerly along the
Northerly line of said Southwest quarter to the Northwest cor-
ner thereof; thence South 0° 431 28" East along said West line
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT THEREFROT4T that portion described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter of said Section 9; thence Southerly 40
feet along the East line of said Northwest quarter; thence
at right angles Westerly 20 feet; thence at right angles
Southerly 10 feet; thence at right angles Easterly 10 feet;
thence at right angles Northerly 10 feet.

The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and
the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is
now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as
above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning NIap and inserted in the Anaheim Municipal Code showing the
Changes hereby approved and adopted.
S;CTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify the passage of this Ordinance and shall
cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption,
in the Anaheim Bulletin a newspaper of general circulation printed,
published and circulated in said city, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
