A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING THE RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED
AS CONFIDENTIAL AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2005R -168
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated
May 30, 2006, that the rates for job classifications designated as Confidential be amended and
that Resolution No. 2005R -168 be rescinded in the manner set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending rates for job
classifications designated as Confidential is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to rescind Resolution No. 2005R -168,
which established the former rates of compensation for job classifications designated as
Confidential.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
Section 1: That Section 1 of Resolution No. 2005R -168 be amended in its entirety to
read as follows:
"Section 1.
That, effective June 2, 2006 through November 30, 2006, the basic compensation plan
for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future
be employed in any of the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary
schedules in the Salary Schedule Master:
1 % Salary Adjustment and 2% Market Realignment Schedule Number Step Range

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amended rates of compensation

classifications designated as confidential shall be effective upon adoption of
this Resolution by
the City Council.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon the effective date of this Resolution,
Resolution No. 2005R -168 shall be rescinded in its entirety.
