A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 2032
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
Giacomo Lugaro and Agostina Lugaro owners
of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The North 195.00 feet of the West 200.00 feet
of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 7, in Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as
said section is shown on a Map recorded in
Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said County.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
January 13 1969 notice of which said public hearing
was duly given as requireTby law and the provisions.of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did a dopt Resolution No. PC69 -1 -S4p ..s.
L9. denying variance No. 2032 and
WHEREAS, therafter, within twenty -two .(22),days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission denying_ said
variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing. on

all in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such.public hearing
was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after flue investigation and studies made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the. City Council
does find and determine that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

denying Variance No. 2032 be, and the same is hereby
sustained, and that the petition for a zoning variance
permitting waivers of the maximum number of free- standing
signs and minimum distance between free standing signs
(Section 18.62.090(b -1) of the Anaheim Municipal Code)
to permit the erection of two price signs 30 by 40 inches,
on the property hereinbefore described, be, and the same
is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 25th day of February, 1969.
