A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF
ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
~UNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONE"
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its inten-
Lion to change the boundaries of the zone or z ones hereinafter men-
tioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of
a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article
IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code. and did duly hold and
.onduct sU'~h public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or 7,ones. and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested
t.herein, and
~riEREAS9 within a period of forty (40) days following the
nn81 hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX. Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the
~oundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS. upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
.. . 15th day of December, 1959 , as the time and the
Council Chamber in the City Hall of the(jTty of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone, and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX.
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim rvIunicipal Code; and
~riEREAS~ at tne time and place fixed for said public hear-
ing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing
'1nd did give all persons interested theY'ei n an opportunity to be
beard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con-
~1der the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS. the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth9 is
Plore suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
(hange said property and area and that the inclusion of said property
Bnd area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of said
property and area and will not depreciate the values of property
in adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Ci ty of' Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim. County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1.
The Sout~ 66 feet of the North 132 feet of the South half
of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.3.B. & M.
PARCEL 2.
The East 360 feet of the North half of the North 132 feet

be changed from R-A, HESIDENTlAL-/\GRICULTURAL ZONE to C-3, HEAW-
CO~~RCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1 .
That the uses of subject property be 1 imi ted to a
f"10te1 or any C-I uses.
2.
That if said property is used for the construction
of a Motel, that the building be erected essentially
in accordance with the plans this day presented to
the City Council and on file with the City of
Anaheim; and if used for any C-I use, that plans
therefor be submitted to and approved by the City
Council.

That the owners of subject property place of record
standard City of Anaheim C-3 Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney, which restrictions
shall limit the uses of the property to a Motel or
any C-1 uses.
4.
Tl:a t UtE owners of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width,
from the center line of the street, along Euclid
Avenue, for street 1tJidening purposes.
(a) That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anahe im, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or
other pertinent work be complied with as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the office of
the City En~:ineer; and (b) that a bond in an amount
and form sat isfactor:y to the City of Anahe im be posted
with the City to ruarantee the installation of said
en~; ineET ing requ irements.
6. That the owners 0: subject property pay to the City
of Anaheim tl'e SUIT: of $2.00 per front foot for street
1ightinO purposes.
7. That all of the abov(,' conditions, with the exception
of Conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 5(a), be complied with
within a period of 90 days from date hereof, or
such further time as the City Council may grant.
BF IT FURTHER ~~ESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
hE' is herel.y authorizEd and directEd to prepare and submit to the
City Council an amendrYient to .Articl.e IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
[vltlnicipa1 Code to amend s2.id Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish
the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
