A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
CECIL N. PETERSON and
PEART, G. PETERSON. husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lots 10 and 11, Block D
of the Davis Brothers Addition to Anaheim, as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 2, pages 632 and 633 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Harbor Boulevard
and Elm Street; thence Southerly along the centerline of
Harbor Boulevard, 124.90 feet; thence at right angles to
said centerline of Harbor Boulevard, 45 feet to a point on
a line that is parallel with and distant 45 feet from said
centerline of Harbor Boulevard; thence Northerly along said
parallel line, 85.03 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet;
thence Northerly and Easterly along said curve through a
central angle of 89° 52' 20" an arc distance of 23.53 feet
to a point on a line that is parallel with and distant 25
feet Southerly of the centerline of said Elm Street; thence
Northerly to a point on said centerline, said point being
Easterly 59.91 feet from the point of beginning; thence
Westerly along said centerline of Elm Street, 59.91 feet
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
