A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 68 -69 -34 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 19th day
of Nnvrmmlipr 19 6R as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of that certain parcel
of land described in deed recorded March 12, 1953 in Book
2469, pages 46 and 47 of Official Records of Orange County,
California, said Northwest corner being distant from the
common Section corner of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range
9 West; Section 6, Township 4 South, Range 8 West; Section
36, Township 3 South, Range 9 West, and Section 31, Town-
ship 3 South, Range 8 West, S.B.B. M., as said section
corners are shown on a Map of Survey filed in Book 18,
page 46 in Record of Surveys in the Office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, California, the following
courses and distances: South 89° 53' 11" West 2,051.78
feet, more or less; South 46° 54' 30" West 404.15 feet,
more or less, South 73° 53' 14" West 1,720.05 feet, more
or less; thence
Following along the Northerly boundary of the land described
in the last mentioned deed the following courses and dis-
tances: North 73° 53' 14" East 120.70 feet, more or less,
South 0° 00' 30" East 119.37 feet, more or less, North
67° 54' 30" East 219.73 feet, more or less, to the Northeast
corner of the last mentioned parcel of land, said Northeast
corner also being the Northwest corner of that certain
parcel of land described in deed recorded June 26, 1967
in Book 8992, Page 553 of Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence
North 67° 54' 30" East 459.85 feet, more or less, along
the Northerly line of the land described in the last men-
tioned deed to the Northeast corner of said parcel, said
Northeast corner also being the Northwest corner of that
certain parcel of land described in deed recorded January
11, 1954 in Book 2646, page 538 of Official Records of
Orange County, California; thence
North 67° 54' 30" East 501.69 feet, more or less, along
the Northerly line of the land described in the last mentioned
deed to the Northeast corner of said parcel; thence
South 28° 42' 50" East 960.07 feet, more or less, along
a portion of the Easterly line of the land described in
the last mentioned deed to an intersection with the Northerly
right of way line of Santa Ana Canyon Road, 160 feet wide;
thence
South 60° 30' 02" West 1,359 feet, more or less, along
the Northerly right of way line of said Santa Ana Canyon
Road to an intersection with the Northwesterly prolongation
of the Westerly line of the land conveyed to Fannie Aherns
by deed recorded April 29, 1963 in Book 6527, page 898
of Official Records of Orange County, California, said
point of intersection being a point in the existing City
Limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the
Santa Ana Canyon Annexation No. 1 to the City of Anaheim,
passed by Ordinance No. 2471, filed with the Secretary
of State February 29, 1968 and recorded March 4, 1968 in
Official Records of Orange County, California; thence
Following along a portion of the said existing City Limit
line of the City of Anaheim, being a portion of the Northerly
right of way line of said Santa Ana Canyon Road the following
courses and distances: South 60° 30' 02" West 60 feet,
more or less, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 1,950 feet; thence
Southwesterly along a portion of said curve through a central
angle of 8° 56' 19" an arc distance of 304.22 feet, more
or less, to an intersection with the Westerly line of the
land described in the aforementioned deed recorded March
12, 1953 in Book 2469, pages 46 and 47 of Official Records
of said Orange County, California; thence
Leaving the said existing City Limit line of the City of
Anaheim and following along a portion of the Westerly line
of the land described in the last mentioned deed the following
courses and distances: North 3° 52' 40" West 798.71 feet,
more or less, South 89" 53' West 65.08 feet, more or less,
North 0° 07' West 521.08 feet, more or less, South 74°
54' West 27.42 feet, more or less North 0° 07' West 10.72
feet to the point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING. RESOLUTION is approved and signed
