A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT'! OF ANAHEIM
DENYING VARIANCE NOo 1167.
WHEREAS, the CBy Planning Commission of the City of Anahe im
did receive a petition for zonIng variance from Mrs. Clarice Graham.
750 N. Sabina, Anaheim, California, owner of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, Cou.ntyof Orange, State of California,
described as follows~
Lot 14 in Block B of Tract No. 247, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per map recorded in book 13, page 51 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
county.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a publ ic
hearing at the City Hall in the CJ:ty of Anaheim on November 2 ,
19 59 , notices of which said public: hearing were duly given as re-
quired by law and the pro'llsfons of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code~ and
WHEREAS, said City PlannIng Commission, after due inspection9
investigation and studies made by Itself and In Its behalf, and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution No. _ 101 SerIes; 19 S9-60 denyinQ
Var iance No. 1167 ~ and
WHEREAS, thereafter. within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution. a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the CJ:ty of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission denYinQ said variance. and said appeal was
set for publ ie hearing on December I , 19 Sq , at 7~00
O'ClOCK P.Mo at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code~ and
WHEREAS. after due investigatIon and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de~
termine tha t:
I. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property In the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject property.
20 It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission
denying Application No. 1167 for a zoning variance to permit the
operation of a guest home for the aged on the property hereinabove
described be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that Variance
No. 1167 be, and the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION Is approved and signed by me this
1st day of December , 19 59 .
