A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
FREDERICKS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following escri a rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes for poles,
conductors and fixtures over, under and across the
Easterly 10 feet of the Westerly 195 feet, as measured
at right angles to the centerline of Magnolia Avenue,
of that parcel of land described as follows:
Lot 17 and Lot 18 of the P. A. Stanton Tract, as per Map
recorded in Book 5, pages 23 and 24 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County.
Excepting that portion of said Lot 17 included within the
following described lines: Beginning at a point on the
Westerly line of Section 19, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per Map recorded in
Book 51, page 10 of said Miscellaneous Maps, South 0 38'
40" East 441.50 feet from the Northwest corner of said
Section; thence North 89 14' 54" East 572.84 feet to the
West line of Lot 14 in said P. A. Stanton Tract; thence
South 0 38' 40" East 345.00 feet along the West line of
Lots 14 and 15 in said P. A. Stanton Tract; thence South
89 14' 54" West 572.84 feet to the West line of said
Section; thence North 0 38' 40" West 345.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the centerline of
Magnolia Avenue is assumed to be the Westerly line of said
Lot 17 and Lot 18.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of June 19 66
