desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same 17 City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PACIFIC MIDWEST
DEVELOPMENT CO., a California corporation,

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 45.00 feet of that portion
of Lots 21 and 22 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map
of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
a copy of which is recorded in Book 3, pages 163 and
following, entitled Los Angeles County Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, California,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner (center line intersection
of Vermont Avenue and East Street) of said Lot 21;
thence South 15° 23' 06" East along the Easterly line of
said Lot 21 (center line of East Street) a distance of
1178.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South
15° 23' 06" East along said Easterly line of said Lot 21
and along the Easterly line of Lot 22 (center line of East
Street) a distance of 269.99 feet; thence South 74° 29' 04"
West and parallel with the Northerly line of said Lot 21 a
distance of 603.00 feet; thence North 15° 23' 06" West and
parallel with the Easterly line of said Lots 21 and 22 a
distance of 269.99 feet; thence North 74° 29' 04" East and
parallel with the Northerly line of said Lot 21 a distance
of 603.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
