66-304RESOLUTION NO. 66R 304 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A RANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered to sell and convey the same to t e City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of RALPH WILLIAM BEATTY and EDITH E. BEATTY, husband and wife; PA an EILEEN BEATTY, husband and wife, and RUTH ANNA HARRIS to sell to the City of Anaheim the following escr a rea property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility pur and more particu y .escr a as o ows: IP II ar An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of Lot 2, Block 10 of the Golden State Tract, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: •Commencing at the most Northerly corner of that certain land conveyed to the State of California by deed recorded in Book 2786, page 260 of Official Records, of said Orange County; thence North 74 00' 46" East along the Northerly line of said Lot 2 (for the purpose of this description the said Northerly line is also the Southerly line of Miraloma Avenue, formerly known as Anaheim Road as shown on said Map) a distance of 210.41 feet to the true point of begin- ning; thence continuing North 74 00' 46" East along the said Southerly line of said Miraloma Avenue a distance of 446.81 feet; thence South 15 59' 14" East a distance of 10.00 feet; thence South 74 00' 46" West parallel to the said Southerly line of said Miraloma Avenue, a distance of 446.81 feet; thence North 15 59' 14" West a distance of 10.00 feet to the true point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
