Subject: Beach blvd/Ball Road
Respectfully Mr. City Attorney,
I have a question regarding why after so many decades of the entire community fighting to have the motels on Beach
closed and torn down because of lengthy non compliance, illegal activity, crime, prostitution, drugs, or providing illegal
transient shelters and a long list of other reasons, why is it legal for the city to keep them open today?
It confuses our community considering the residents themselves have tirelessly volunteered to come together in
countless townhalls, city council meetings, organizations within the city itself, on every level to fight this. Why or what is
the secret reason for keeping them on Beach? This would never fly in any other city or other part of Anaheim.
The reason why I am asking is for a legit explaination of how legally this is even possible after decades of historically
illegal activity?
In a city with lots of money, on a street with so much potential, there is an obvious allure for the city to keep them open.
May I please have an answer?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jodie Mosley
