RESOLUTION NO. 86R - 113
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSES
ASSIGNED TO THE GENERAL CITY EMPLOYEE UNIT REPRESENTED
BY THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the need exists to create the classifications of Utilities
Conservation Representative and Principal Water Engineering Aide; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated March 18, 1986, that these new job classifications be created; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has determined that these new
classifications be assigned to the General City Employee Unit represented by
the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the
creation of these classifications is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. Amend Appendix A of the Memorandum of Understanding for the
General Employees Unit as follows:
A. That , effective October 4, 1985 through February 20, 1986, the
basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the salary
schedule master:

B. That, effective February 21, 1986 through April 17, 1986 the
basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the salary
schedule master:

C. That, effective April 18, 1986 through October 16, 1986, the
basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the salary
schedule master:

D. That, effective October 17, 1986 through October 15, 1987 the
basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the salary
schedule master:

re-opener in conjunction with the Service/Maintenance and Skilled Craft
classification study.
2. Amend Article 17 of the Memorandum of Understanding for the
General Employees Unit as follows:
That, effective October 4, 1985, the salary relationships for these
classifications shall be as follows:
Utilities Conservation Representative
Benchmark
Principal Water Engineering Aide

Senior Electrical
Engineering Aide
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all provisions of the Memorandum of
Understanding, dated December 16, 1985, between the City of Anaheim and the
General Employee Unit of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association apply to
the foregoing classifications.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of March , 1986.
