RESOLUTION NO. 5503
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the
desirous of purchasing
municipal purposes, to
util ity purposes
City Council of the City of Anaheim is
the hereinafter described real property
wit: An easement for road and Dublic

for
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to tne City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of Tomas Martinez and Jessie
Martinez, husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for road and public utilit~ DurDoses
and more particularly described as fo lows:

described as follows:
The Southerly 11 feet of Lot 1 of the Gresswell
Subdivision, as shown on a map recorded in Book 6,
Page 47 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said propertyo

be changed from R-3. MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C-l,
NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property place of record stand-
ard City of Anaheim C-l Deed Restrictions, approved by the
City Attorney, which restrictions shall limit the uses of
the property to Banks, Medical and Dental Offices, Pharma-
cies, Professional Offices, Non-Retail Service Businesses,
and any uses, except Restaurants, which may hereafter be
authorized and permitted under future zoning of the City
of Anaheim in the proposed C-7, Business and Professional
Office Zones.
2. That the owners of the property replace the sidewalks along
Philadelphia, Claudina and Broadway Streets as required by
the Director of Public Works of the City of Anaheim, and
that said sidewalks be replaced at the time licenses for
proposed uses of the property are requested.
3. That the owners of the property replace the curbs on
Broadway and Claudina Streets as required by the Director
of Public Works of the City of Anaheim, and that said curbs
be replaced at the time licenses for proposed uses of the
property are requested.
4. That Condition No.1, above mentioned, be complied with
within a period of 90 days from date hereof, or such further
time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish
the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
