A HESOLUTI:JN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLAHING, UNDER SECTION 9200.14
OF TEE ANAIIEIH HUNICIPAL CODE, THE INTERFRE-
I'ATION OF SECTION 9200.3, "R-A, RESIDENTIAL-
AGRICULTURAL ZONE", .wITH HEFERENCE TO A
PRIVATE BOffLING ALLEY.
,lliE:1EAS, Section 9200.1Lf of the Anaheim Nunicipal Code
provides that if a use has been omitted from the lists of those
specified as permissible in the various zones, it shall be the
duty of the Planning Comrnissl:m to ascertain all pertinent facts
and by (',-,solutIon of record set forth its findings and the reasons
lherafor anc_ such findings and resolutions shall be referred to
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, a bo~linG alley used for strictly private use
b~r the owner of property is not set forth as a use in any zone in
the Ci t~r of Anaheim; and
,-mERf~AS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, by Hesolution No. 29 - Series 1959-60, did set forth its
findings, wherein it found that a private bowling alley consisting
of two lanes rold housed in a building would not be a more intensive
use t~8n other specified uses allowed in the R-A, Residential-
Agricul tural Zone of the zonLlg regulations of the City of Anaheim
and recommended to the C1 ty Counc:Ll 0:' the Ci ty of Anaheim that a
pri va ~e bowling alley, non-cornmerci al, liJ11 ted to hlO lanes, be added
to the H.-A, Residential-Agricultural Zone, subject to:

duly cansLier the aspects 0:' a private bowling alley in an R-A,
Residential-Agricultural Zone, and did determine that such use would
be in conformi ty wi th the al10~able uses in an R-A, Hesidential-
Agricul tural Zone, under cartain condi t:tons.
