RESOLUTION NO. 5436
A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1126.
.-
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from Juanita Mills. owner
of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Let 26 of Tract No. 2373, as showTI on a map recorded
in Beok 68, Pages 17 and 18 of 11iscellaneous Haps,
records of Orange County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission
hearing at the City Hall In the City of Anaheim on
19 59 , notices of which said public hearing were
quired by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17

did hold a public

WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf. and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution No. 8 Series 19 ~9-60 , granting Variance
No. 1126 Upor~ the conditions set forth therein , and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution. a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission grantin~~ said variance. and said appeal was
set for pub 1 ic hear ing on August 16 , 19 C;g , at 7 ~oo
o'clock P.Mo at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the prOVi-
sions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code~ and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de~
termlne tha t:

1. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject property.

developed and used under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission
grantlng VariancE; No. 1126 to Ju&rSta Hills, 1068 Lomita Street,
Anaheim, CalLfornia, to permit the operation of' a beauty shop in
