A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC
EQUESTRIAN AND HIKING TRAIL EASEMENT LOCATED AT
7651, 7671 AND 7673 EAST CORTO ROAD AND 370 AND 371
SOUTH TIMKEN ROAD PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8330, ET SEQ. -
SUMMARY VACATION (ABA2020-00402)
WHEREAS, an applicant has requested the vacation of a portion of a public equestrian
and hiking trail easement generally located at 7651, 7671 and 7673 East Corto Road and 370 and 371
South Timken Road, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as more
particularly described below ("Public Service Easement") because the Public Service Easements have
been relocated and therefore excess; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim acquired the Public Service Easements for public
equestrian and hiking trail purposes ("Public Recreation Purposes"); and
WHEREAS, the Public Service Easement is not necessary for present or prospective
Public Recreation Purposes or any other public purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Public Service Easement to be vacated has been superseded by
relocation determined to be excess and there are no other public facilities located within the Public
Service Easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of the Public Service Easement set forth in Exhibit "A" and
Exhibit "B".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby
snakes this vacation pursuant to the requirements of the California Streets and Highways Code,
Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution shall
not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and is hereby, authorized and
directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
complete and the Public Service Easements vacated shall no longer constitute public service
easements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this =day of February 2024, by the following roll call vote:

Leon, Rubalcava, Faessel and Meeks
