1fJnI!RlAS, the Cit7 Planning C01lllll1881on of the Cit7 of AIl8hdlll has here-
tofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its intention to change the
boundaries of the Bone or Bones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix
a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as
prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or
zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
~tAS. within a period of forty (40) d~s following the final hearing
thereon, the Planning Commission did du~ announce b7 formal resolution its find-
ings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment
to laid Article IX, Chapter 2 of the AIlaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed
change I in the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WBJlRIAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City
Planning Commi88ion, the City Council did thereupon f'1x the 21 st d~ of
Ju ly , 19 5:9 . as the time and the Oouncil Ohamber in the Oity
Hall of the City of An..ei. as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed
ohange of zone, and did give notice thereof in the manner and a. provided in laid
Article IX. Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Manicipal Code; and

City Council did duly hold and conduct such ~blic hearing and did give all per-
sons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and
~eportl, and did thereupon con.ider the recommendations of the City Planning
Oommi88ion; and
~V.AS. the City Council does find and determine that the property
and area proposed to be changed from the lone in which it is now situated to a
different zone, as hereinafter set forth. is more luitab1e for the Bone or zones
~o which it 18 proposed to chlUlge said property and area and that the inclusion
of laid property and area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
laid property and area and will not depreciate the values of propert7 in adjoin-

That a strip of subject property 50 feet in width along
Dowling Avenue and a strip 50 feet in width along La Palma

That the balance of subject property be changed to
M-l, LIGHT-MANUFACTURING ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property place of record
standard City of Anaheim M-l Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney.
2. That the owner of subject property deed to the City
of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width, from
the center line of the street, along Dowling Avenue,
for street widening purposes; and a strip of land
53 feet in width, from the center line of the street,
along La Palma Avenue, for street widening purposes.
3. That the owner of subject property pay to the City
of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot on both
Dowling and La Palma Avenues, for street lighting
purposes.
4. (a) That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim, along Dowling and La Palma Avenues,
such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading
and paving, drainage facilities, or other pertinent
work be complied with as required by the City Engi-
neer and in accordance with standard plans and speci-
fications on file in the office of the City Engineer,
and that said engineering requirements or improve-
ments shall be installed at the time of the initial
development of the property; and (b) that a bond
in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim be posted with the City to guarantee the
installation of said engineering requirements.
5. That no building permits shall be issued until fa-
cilities of the City are available to serve said
property.
6. That this reclassification is contingent upon the
completion of annexation proceedings now pending to
annex certain territory to the City of Anaheim, in
which subject property is included.

7. That all of the above conditions, with the exception
of Conditions Nos. 4(a), 5 and 6, shall be complied
with within a period of 90 days after the completion
of annexation proceedings now pending in which
subject property is included, or such further time
as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the
City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish
the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of July, 1959.
