CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
FOR ROAD PURPOSES IN, ON, OVER AND ACROSS
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, FROM SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company, a
Corporation, has tendered to the City of Anaheim, subject to
the terms, covenants and conditions therein set forth, an
easement for road purposes in, on, over and across the follow-
ing described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
The Southerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles,
to the center line of Ball Road, of the Easterly 265
feet of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian.
The Northerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles,
to the center line of Ball Road, of the Easterly
265 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 11
West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian.

That portion of the Rancho Los Coyotes, in said County
and State, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page
11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
The Northerly 45 feet, as measured at right angles
to the center line of Orange Avenue, of the Easterly
265 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 13,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian.
The Southerly 40 feet, as measured at right angles
to the center line of Orange Avenue, of the. Easterly
265 feet of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 13,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian.
PARCEL FIVE:
The Northerly 45 feet, as measured at right angles to
the center line of Broadway, of the Easterly 265 feet
of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in
the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said County.
PARCEL SIX:
The Easterly 60 feet, as measured at right angles to
the center line of Brookhurst Street, of the Southerly
175 feet of that portion of the. Northeast quarter of
the Southeast quarter of Section 19, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, lying Northerly of Southern Pacific Railroad
Company's right of way, 60 feet wide.
PARCEL SEVEN:
That portion of the Rancho Los Coyotes, in said County
and State, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of said
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
The Easterly 32 feet, as measured at right angles to
the center line of Nutwood Street, of the land
described in "Parcel 1" and "Parcel 2" in the deed to
Southern California Edison Company, recorded May 16,
1963, in Book 6550, page 141 of Official Records of
said County.
PARCEL EIGHT:
The Westerly 30 feet, as measured at right angles to
the center line of Nutwood Street, of the land
described in the deed to Southern California Edison
Company Ltd., a corporation, recorded August 1, 1939,
in Book 1006, page 278 of said Official Records.
PARCEL NINE:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in said
County and State, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of
said County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northwesterly
line of the Southern California Edison Company's
right of way, 270 feet wide, as described in the deed
recorded September 20, 1961, in Book 5854, page 457
of Official Records of said County, with a line
parallel with and distant Southerly 45 feet, as
measured at right angles, from the North line of
said Southeast quarter; thence Easterly along said
parallel line to the Easterly line of said Southeast
quarter; thence Northerly along said Easterly line to
the Northeast corner of said Southeast quarter;
thence Westerly along the North line of said Southeast
quarter to an intersection with said Northwesterly
line of the Southern California Edison Company's
right of way; thence Southwesterly along said North-
westerly line to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion included within the
Northerly, 75 feet of the Easterly 60 feet of said
Southeast quarter.
SUBJECT TO:
Covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations,
exceptions, rights, easements and licenses, affecting
the above described real property, whether of record
or not, including but not limited to those herein
referred to.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for
the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept
said easement for road purposes this day submitted to the
City Council by Southern California Edison Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the easement for road purposes
this day tendered to the City by Southern California Edison
Company, a corporation, granting to the. City, but subject to
the terms, covenants and conditions therein contained, an
easement for road purposes in, on, over and across that certain
real property hereinabove described, be and the same is hereby
approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to accept said ease-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 25th day of October, 1966.
