A RESOLUTIO~ ot THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DENYING VAR lANCE NO. 1109

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from
WALTER E. HETRICK, owner
situated in the City of Anaheim, County

of certain real property
of Orange, State of California,
Lot 29 of Tract No. 1691, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 52, Pages 18 and 19 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County
California. '
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
19 59 , notices of which said public hearing were
quired by law and the provisions of Section 9200017
Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution No. 222 Series 19 S8-S9 rAnommAnn1ng

WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution. a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission denying said variance, and said appeal was
set for public hearing on June 16 , 19 59 ,at 7g00
o'clock P.Mo at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de-
termine tha t ~

10 There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject property.
20 It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying
Variance No. 1109 requesting permission to establish a 1awnmower
sharpening End key mezing business in the garage located on the pro-
perty hereinabove described, be, and the same is hereby sustained, and
th~lt V2rlance No. 1109 be, find the SFme is hereby denied.
