RESOLUTION NO. 5280
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A HOUSE \VK)VING PERMIT TO
RAY A. GAMBLE TO \VK)VE A DWELLING FROM 1820
S11JDEBAKER ROAD, LONG BEACH, CAL IFORNIA, TO
3085 WEST ORANGE AVENUE, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, Ray A. Gamble, having filed a written appli-
cation for a house moving permit to move a dwelling house from
1820 Studebaker Road, Long Beach, California, to 3085 West
Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, said application having been set for public
hearing on the 9th day of June, 1959, at the hour of 7:00 o'clock
P. M., and notice of the time and place fixed for said public
hearing having been given by mail to all persons residing within
a radius of three hundred feet from the property upon which it is
proposed to move said dwelling house, building or structure, at
least ten days prior to the date fixed for said hearing, as the
names of such owners appeared upon the last available tax assess-
ment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having come on regularly for hear-
ing upon said date and said hearing having been duly held and
conducted and all persons interested therein given an opportunity
to be heard, and said Council having duly considered said appli-
cation, together with all evidence and reports submitted in
connection therewith, does find that said application should be
granted subject to the following conditions:
1. The approval of the City Planning Commission to
split the lot on Orange Avenue, as proposed by the
appl icant.
2. That the owner of the property deed to the City of
Anaheim a strip of land 45 feet in width, from the
center line of the street, along Orange Avenue for
street widening purposes.
3. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs, gutters and sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities or
other pertinent work be complied with as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with stand-
ard plans and specifications on file in the office
of the City Engineer, or that a bond in an amount
and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be
posted with the City to guarantee the installation
of said improvements when required by the City.
lie That approval of the Orange County Flood Control
District be obtained to move a dwelling on the
property located at 3085 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim,
Cal ifornia.

5. That all of the above conditions shall be complied
with prior to final inspection of the dwelling.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the application of said Ray A. Gamble
for a house moving permit to move a dwelling house from 1820
Studebaker Road, Long Beach, California, to 3085 West Orange

Avenue, Anaheim, California, be, and the same is hereby granted,
subject to the conditions hereinabove set forth, and further
subject to compliance with all of the provisions of Article VIII,
Chapter 5 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, relating to the moving
of buildings from a point outside the City of Anaheim to a point
within the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of June, 1959.
