All of you have received the financial benefit of Disney’s money through your campaigns in anticipation of this vote. 2. I know that Norma will say she didn’t but the fact that she was appointed over many other qualified candidates by council members who did receive hundreds of thousands of dollars from Disney is a telling factor. 3. To blindly accept an appraisal done by Disney because it was “independently verified” is the same way the Angel Stadium appraisal was handled… and we all know how that turned out. 4. This project began under the Harry Sidhu reign of corruption and continues today. 5. There are secret meetings being held that are not reflected on your calendars. 6. I just listened to Ashleigh state how she wants what’s best for the residents; yet she has been out at public meetings shilling for Disney and couldn’t even be bothered to attend the open house last night that she claims to have organized. 7. To blindly accept an executive summary of the CSUF report is unbelievable. You do not even know if an entire report actually exists. Why have you not requested it from Disney? It should be a condition of this deal. 8. You claim that the expansion is necessary for the economic health of the city; maybe, you can explain then, why Anaheim is over 3 BILLION dollars in debt- we currently have Disneyland, Angel Stadium, Honda Center, Convention Center, & the Grove. So why are we in debt????? Why are city owned buildings mortgaged- well maybe I shouldn’t say city owned as they are mortgaged now? This city should be rolling in money; instead we have ghettos 1 block away from Disneyland. 9. Lastly, what is the hurry? This is a proposal that has no actual plans, no timelines, and no deadlines. Is the rush due to the fact that Natalie Rubalcava will most likely be recalled and she is a Yes vote? Or is it because it is an election year and Faessel & Diaz will be gone- also YES votes? That’s enough for this public comment. However, to vote on an issue of this magnitude which will immeasurably a?ect the residents for decades, without reading the entire 20,000 page EIR or even the CSUF report, is not only reckless but irresponsible. You need to be concerned about the residents and we are not feeling that concern. Hoping for speedy responses. Jeanine Robbins
